Residential Tariffs
The following simulation provides a cost comparison between the current (2019-2020) prepaid tariffs applicable at Tokara and the COJ proposed tariffs for 2020-2021 based on a unit’s monthly consumption.
Historically in Tokara monthly consumption varies from 0 kWh (empty units) to about 1,350 kWh ( in winter times).
For the 2020-2021 year the costs are calculated for the following proposed tariff scales; both which are available to Tokara residents:
* Proposed Residential Prepaid and
* Proposed Conventional Resellers’ tariffs
These are applicable for electricity supply to private houses, sectional title units, flats, boarding houses and hostels.
